2nd/3rd C iron and copper alloy Heddernheim cavalry helmet - Sassanid - 10-29-2004

Would anyone be able to help please. I need some good images for a helmet reconstruction. The helmet I have in mind is the iron and copper alloy Heddernheim cavalry helmet. The one with plume holder still attached. I suspect the Robinson classification would be Aux Cav F, but I am not sure on that.

Any images are good, drawings, paintings or best of all photographs of the original.

Many thanks in advance,
Andrew,
I have rubber forms taken directly off the original, but still have not located them, for only about half of my boxes are still unpacked from my return to the U.S. from Germany. When I find them, I can scan them for you. I am assuming you mean the ornate one with serpents. There is also a lesser known, plainer one of the same stype, not on exhibit.
I think you may be thinking of Robinson's Cavalry Type 'H' (I'll check when I get home)
