Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Robert Vermaat - 10-27-2010 Brilliant! Beautiful work of art. Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Astiryu1 - 10-28-2010 How did you get your horse (sorry don't know his or her name) and hold the draw to model for Graham? hock:  Seriously though nice painting! Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Gaius Julius Caesar - 10-30-2010 Very nice work by Graham. Worthy of an Osprey for sure. Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - John Conyard - 10-31-2010 This is far too good for the average Osprey! Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Paullus Scipio - 10-31-2010 Quote:This is far too good for the average Osprey!   .....I thought that too, but hesitated to post the thought........Osprey illustrations vary from the good to the terrible, but on average they are just not in this class..... D Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Gaius Julius Caesar - 10-31-2010 Well, what ever! Graham does illustrate Osprey... But yes, it is top notch for sure. So is the subject! Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Ammianus - 10-31-2010 Cheers for all the comments! Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Graham Sumner - 11-01-2010 Quote:Cheers for all the comments! Likewise. It is not often I get so much feedback for a particular work. Thanks. Graham. Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Gaius Julius Caesar - 11-01-2010 It is pretty awesome! 8) Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - jvrjenivs - 11-01-2010 Quote:Quote:Cheers for all the comments! Maybe you should make some more like this of other RAT members, then. Sure you'll get much feedback on them, if you do... But yeah, it's already one of my favourite works of you, along with a dromedarius and other cavalrymen. Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - John Conyard - 11-01-2010 I find it hard to believe that the self-effacing shy and retiring members of RAT would want a large picture of themselves to decorate their wall. Hang on a minute Graham, this market could be huge. Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Robert Vermaat - 11-04-2010 Quote:I find it hard to believe that the self-effacing shy and retiring members of RAT would want a large picture of themselves to decorate their wall. :roll:Who said I'd want it on MY wall? Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - M. Demetrius - 11-04-2010 At least on the Facebook wall, right? Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - P Sertorius Scaevola - 11-04-2010 John Conyard wrote: I find it hard to believe that the self-effacing shy and retiring members of RAT would want a large picture of themselves to decorate their wall. I find myself extremely privileged then; I actually have two of them, actually a print and an original. The original shows me and my good wife inside actual centurio's quarters. Both were done in the previous century. Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - M. Keep an eye on this guy....) |
