David Allen Drake (1945-2023) - Sean Manning - 01-03-2024
David Drake, who was torn from law school in the USA into the Vietnam War as an interrogator and went on to become a notable science fiction and fantasy author (Hammer's Slammers, the Belissarius series, at least one Arthurian novel), has died. Like many science fiction and fantasy writers of the 20th century, his fiction incorporated many classical themes.

I loved his Belisarius series!
