Online Strategy Wargame - Fall of Rome - MaximusDominus - 08-17-2005

I hail from the Fall of Rome game community, and was curious if any of you illustrious individuals here had had opportunity yet to try it, and if so, I would be interested in hearing any feedback that you could offer, to help us improve the game.

For those not yet familiar with it, it can be found at:

A free introductory mini-game, Centurion, can be found at:

Also, another game, Campaigns of Centurion is in the works.

Thank you kindly for your interest and feedback.

My feedback would be 'For God's sake - LOSE THE SILLY CONAN/FRANK FRANZETTA ART FROM YOUR SITE!!' I took one look at those picture of fantasy barbarians in winged helmets and ran screaming from your site without going further.

If you are trying to depict history, get some historical art and ditch the bad fantasy pics.

Hail, Thiudareiks!

Actually, I believe that the desire was to create a quasi-historical game, with some elements from history, and a few elements from myth, such as the artifact portion of the game.

But, I do appreciate your feedback. Whether negative or positive, I would also appreciate feedback from others, as well.

Many thanks!
