Anthony Riches new Novel

Postby derek forrest » Thu 22 Apr 2010, 12:55

I together with several other members of the Guard enjoyed his first Book Wounds of Honour and now on the 29th of this month his new book "Arrows of Fury" comes out and there is an extract available on www.anthonyriches.com/news.php
If its half as good as the earlier one it will be worth a trip to amazon. It is set as before among a Cohort of Tungrians on the wall.

hello,
I read it about 6 months ago, it was a good read, as it unraveled at times it was a bit dry read, but once it got to action and all that suspense I loved it. I am going to wait when prices on Amazon US reach respectable lower level, under $10, to buy this one http://www.amazon.com/Arrows-Fury-Empir ... 260&sr=1-3

ps
anyone knows any good novels dealing with Ancient China? especially Shang, Chin, Han, Sui and Tang etc (ok . Tang is not ancient, but medieval, still interested though ) ? I got several art books on the ancient Chinese nomad bronzes and iron art, and would love to read about them in fiction too.
