Watch for New Daniyal Steel Crafts Pugio on the PUGIO Site
#1
Daniyal Steel Crafts is in the design phase for a PUGIO . Hopefully it will be inexpensive, accurate and an alternative design to the Deepeeka PUGIO.

Your comments and recommedations can be posted to the PUGIO
study group I set up recently:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Pugio/

The group site has lots of files Photos and links about PUGIO information.

I will post progress reports on the PUGIO on the group site as available.

Daniyal Steel Crafts is a member of the group and will recieve your PUGIO messages.

To contact Daniyal Steel Crafts directly about other products here is link to their website:

Most of the helmets on their website look like Deepeeka knock-offs. The lorica segmentata on their site also features modern buckles and hinge tubes. If we commissioned them to do a pugio, how sure can we be that they would do it to the required degree of accuracy?

Indeed. I would be quite sure a pugio produced by them, following good guidance would be excellent!!

Their work looks good to me, and I think their new hamata is supposed to be pretty good. I am waiting on delivery, so will know one way or the other. A nice pugio to go with it will do fine!
