Time Team Draco

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but Time Team did a programme at Drumlanrig, Dumfries, Scotland, investigating the Roman fort, and the results were shown last weekend. For the programme's 'cameo' they had Tim Blades making a draco standard. I think that this draco, might be the one used at English Heritage's Festival of History in August last year. It made a good sound and looked spectacular!<br>

Hi Sandra,<br>
I was alerted to the new pages by Ross Ereira from TimeTeam. She contacted me months ago about information about dracos. IF TT and C4 allow it, I may be able to add articles from several experts to my website soon.<br>
The draco is now in the possession of EH, so I think it will indeed have been the one shown last August.<br>

Yes unfortunately all the references are 2nd cent so it cannot feature in Guard displays. A vexillum looks small beer by comparison! <p></p><i></i>
