Hey Kat,
When I lived in Tedworth House in Tidworth, our old telephone area dialling code used to be Stonehenge.
It was always a great childish hoot (actually I was about 26 at the time) to answer the phone with, "Stonehenge, Duty Druid speaking....".

Hi All

My name is Jim Morrissey, I was born in and live in Australia. To be specific a town called Frankston located near Melbourne.

I have been a fan of Ancient History since a child and my interest in Romans was given a boost by a visit to Britain. The closest I came to re enactment was seeing the Ermine Street Guard in display at Porchester Castle and I went to a interesting place called the Roman Army Musuem located somewhere near Hadrians wall.

I have been a reader of this forum for sometime and may have logged on as a previous version. Any way always interesting topics and I hope to join in nowSmile
