Show here your Roman soldier impression
Titus -

I am happy to see your group doing an earlier time period impression! Looks good!

One of your members looks like he has what is sometimes called an Itallic-Corinthian helmet - where did it come from/who made it?

Ave Dudicus

The Italic Corinthian helm is possible to find at Armae ( http://www.armae.com/antiquite/11antiquitecadre.htm ) but we bought from a local seller in Italy. But we are not totally satisfied and we're asking around to some armorers if it's possible to have a better one. That's for two reasons: we have to equip our Triarii with good Italic Corinthian helms and they have to be suitable for fighting. Also our first Montefortino helms aren't very good. We're changing all of them.

Methos:

the great thing is that we re-enact the same battle in almost the same place where the real clash took place.

We're lucky to have the possibility to co-operate with good Celtic groups.

Gratias Tibi. And to John, also. Big Grin

We've a lot of work and projects to develop. We started with the imperial age and only two years ago we decided to focus our interest to the republican age. We're not perfect, obviously, but we're getting a lot of satisfactions.
You can see more photos in our site.

I never did get to see you on parade tha tday Jef!

Sulla, how did you manage to get your picture taken, and all I can get is off guard ones. Kind of pisses a guy off after a while. Whats the point of spending a fortune, if you can't get a picture to show your family?

Next time people forget to bring water canteens, they can drop....

Abdas kindly took it for the Rogues Gallery and I lifted it from there, otherwise I would have none either!
