The Spanish pictures were really great, I think it's partly because they are further along in completing their kit but also because of the Spanish sun; it gives the whole scene in the pictures a "Mediterranean" mood.
I now also know what we missed in the I Germanica's presentation of the development of the Roman army during the recent Archeon event - the Greek-style hoplites of the late monarchy and early republic...
I think I also recognised two of my Minervii friends on the German pictures, Publius (Patrick) and Gisalhari (Alexander).
Right now the Minervii are enjoying the country life in Biskupin in Poland (straight after the late Roman event in Archeon), completely devoid of any modern amenities. I hope they enjoy the mosquitoes, and wonder if their member Authari (Jürgen) will indeed miss the Archeon's ham and cheese breakfasts 8)
