Next time: checking your sig, try the 'edit' button. That saves on testing in multiple posts.
Greets
Oh, well,
There are plenty of depictions of Roman soldiers wearing mail and no one of them shows pterugae. Moreover, to wear pterugae your cuirass must be short and sleeveless. Maybe your hamata is short (perhaps a little too short for our date) but it has short sleeves!
Pterugae must go ar least on two double lines (that means quadruple thickness on the upper row) Go to you National Museum and have a look at the ptegugae of the statuest from your Roman theatre!
We're going to be at Centcelles in Tarraco Viva this year. Have your group made clear its position with the organizers?
Ivan,
I don't blame you if you don't trust him...
What about Segeda? Did you finally go there?
I'm afraid that we'll be quite alone and isolated at Centcelles
At Segeda we had a nice time, we made a fast show and saw a hoplite group from Zaragoza called ATHENEA PROMAKOS, they were ok but had to care of some details.

We'll come to visit you at Centcelles, dont worry!
Thanks for the comments on our kit and our walk. I've written an article about it for the UK SKIRMISH magazine, but I'll also put up a post here (soon!) about how the kit held up going up and down the mountain.
Is there a web address for this skirmish magazine?
Hi Dave,

There is a site: www.skirmishmagazine.co.uk/

Note it is a dead-wood magazine. I've seen a few copies but not actually read one yet. It looks pretty cool, I'm thinking of subscribing.
Saw your site and the other pictures - awesome! How did the gear hold up? Can you tell us a bit more about marching/climbing with spear, shield and spatha?
