Back left. You can see my yellow arms holding up one of the Barbarians' shields (I had to borrow it)
We were actually expecting like a total of almost 30-40 legionnaires this year, but got just over 10. Not bad though. Something happened with a member of Legio 9 so their Late Romans didn't show up.

Sounds like the whole system everywhere Evan.
60 are on the way and 10 turn up if you are lucky. Same in the UK. Great pity really. But not the subject of this thread.. Love the pics. Kevin

Yeah.
A lot of the stuff was falling apart, simply because it hadn't been used in so long. The Barbarian stuff namely. Serious lack of Re-enactors. There's a new Legion though at the Citadel - Legio XIV. Four of their guys showed up and they supposedly have 50 people signed up to do it.

I like how the light reflects off them and onto the tile. It makes it look like there's a thin sheet of water over the floor.
Awesome greaves!

Started the hobby about a year or 2 ago but never posted my progress as I lurked here for guidance. My [attempt] at a later republican legionary. I know its not the best but I don't have a huge budget or space in my tiny closet apartment. NYC/Brooklyn |
