Like the Hittites themselves, Hittites.info is no more. This was one of my favorite websites, and one of the best history websites of any kind on the internet, with lots of primary and secondary sources.
You can see the homepage on the Internet Archive (web.archive.org), but none of the other pages were archived. What a shame.
Does anyone know of any other way to retrieve pages from an old website that's no longer being hosted or maintained?
It's a common adage that "once something's on the internet, it stays there forever," but apparently this is not true for Hittite history.
