The Three and Four Musketeers are a lot of fun, and the fight choreography is excellent. The rye sense of humor goes a long way to making it all seem just that much more honest a film (or films).
These are good candidates for Blu-ray. Now if they would receive the "Criterion Treatment" and were released on BD by Criterion ... that would be great.

Indeed - thank you for pointing it out. How could I forget Christopher Lee??!!! The duel in the second film is beautifully choreographed as you say.
I will be interested to see what the re-make will come out like. Mads Mikkelsen in in Lee's role and I think Orlando Bloom as D'Artangnan...I wonder if Mikkelsen can steal this film the way he did in 'Arthur'?
