Looks like Portchester castle, built in the 280s AD.
Greets
I quite like dthis one showing the roman walls, and here is another one with a vertical view.
Impressive that it is so well preserved- I saw (as a spectator) the ESG there in April on a very windy and wet day. As ever, the ESG (and their new horses) were impeccable!

Cheers,
Actually it's a so-called 'Saxon Shore Fort', built indeed in the 280s, and later probably part of coastal command (but no-one is really sure of that).
Later a medieval castle was built on it's grounds, and it was used as a landing place or a place to muster the army for overseas'action - I beleive Henry VIII set off from here to start his French campaign.

Surely the best preserved Roman fort in the UK, even though there is a complete lack of understanding about the buildings inside!
