Speaking of shooting in the back, nothing could be a better contrast in American Western styles than 'Destry Rides Again" vs. the John Wayne type. You may remember that Destry Jr, Jimmy Stewart, arrives as the new deputy sheriff in the lawless town with no guns. He's been built up as the rough tough lawman image of his father. What happened to his father? Shot in the back.<br>
