No Michael, it's the standard advice when a website is not performing as designed for someone. Clearing all (automatically) downloaded HTML, php, CSS etc files from one's computer forces that computer / browser to re-download the info from the website, which usually fixes the complaint.

If you go to your Profile, you will see, on the right-hand side of the red bar at the top, the word 'edit'. Click on that and you can change your Profile details, including your Avatar image.
