Fort Malden is in Amherstburg, Canada, just across the river from Detroit, USA. Legio XXIV and legio XXX were there. Yes, it was a good time, despite the rain on Friday night. Next time I'll be better prepared for the rigors of camping with a hopefully roman appropriate tent. The only sour note was when some later period yahoo (war of 1812 I think) took me to task for wearing glasses when I was relaxing watching others inbetween public events. I normally take the glasses off when marching or whenever there's a chance of being photographed while wearing my roman kit. <p></p><i></i>
