Oops, I stand corrected, thanks! I didn't know about the draco.
It's quite beautifully done. Big Grin

Looks great! But aren´t your baldrics and sword(s) a bit "old" for the helmets, belts and tunics?

Wow, looks great guys!

Was this part of the weekend event, or did you change to batavian kit for displays?

Wish I had made it!

Well spotted- the baldric and sword are earlier. I am getting the Late kit together kit bit by bit- Saturday was finishing the tinning of the belt parts , staining and oiling the leather and rivetting it all together. Before that the Burgh helmet (made by Peronis with a silver chi rho added by me based on these finds)http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd28/...ograms.jpg and the tunic.

So for the moment, wearing grandfather's spatha and baldric...! All tips and suggestions very welcome!

Thats one impressive helmet Caballo, very nice indeed.
Out of sight of subject shores, we kept even our eyes free from the defilement of tyranny. We, the most distant dwellers upon earth, the last of the free, have been shielded till today by our very remoteness and by the obscurity in which it has shrouded our name.
