Hi,

I like to introduce myself as a new recruit. My name is Hans Van Lierde and I'm from Belgium. I studied Roman Archaeology some years ago at the university of Ghent. I'm still very interested in Roman military equipment studies, especially for the early Principate period. Roman weapons in non-military contexts are my main topic. I just published an article in a Belgian regional archaeological journal (VOBOV-info) about a Pompei-type gladius from a Gallo-Roman fanum found in 1947.

I'm sorry for my poor knowledge of English, but I hope to make a contribution to this excellent forum.
