Dear friends,

I have put online the Latin texts of three of the Bu Njem ostraca over here. They are not terribly interesting.

I have added translations, but I had the impression that I was not quite up to the task. Even though the Latin is simple, I have a feeling that I did not fully understand the soldiers' Latin, especiallu in document #5. So, if there's someone who knows how to translate DE SPECLIS or QVINTANARI... Thanks!

Ot probably DE SPECIALIS (special ones, selected ones... destined to a special role...etc)

quintanaris means "from the fifth" (Legio?, Cohors?, Centuria?)
