Hello
are there some spesial tools used exactly by roman armorer or other metal-craftsman ?
I know many exemples of the hammers or the forceps ,the files ,etc.... and few exemples of metal "forge-block" (I don't know this word )
...but only for blacksmith not for armourer
Espessialy I'm looking for some exemples of bore-sticks (to metal) and spesial static tools (wooden block covered iron ,some spesial-shaped forge- blocks ,etc.)
most exemples of the tools what I know is from Medieval Time ...but I need to know what kind of the tools was used by roman craftsman
