this is the gladius of vindonissa,the scabbard is silvered,the handle is in horn.

Woah...fantastic work again. Is that Buffalo horn for the handle grip. I have been thinking of using the same material but was not sure if there was any evidence for the same?

I don't know too if there is some evidence in fact I will do only this gladius ehit this material...but I wonted prove and look really beautiful the handle like that.

sorry Brennivs if I respond only today at you,but I returned today morning from France where I was whit my group.
In all my gladius the embossing work is not from me but from My sister that is magister of art. If I could be able to do the embossing work whit my hand like you I could be very very happy!! but I have not this ability that is very difficult.
