Instructions for making Caligae? - Titus Petronicus Graccus - 07-15-2008
I have this excellent page from Legio XX;

But I'm not sure if I should sew the caligae to the sole leather? Or is it all held together with nails?
Also, should I use clinching nails around the edge of the sole leather and then hobnails for the rest of the surface area?
Any help on this would be appreciated.
