Refererence for identification of Fibulae - Anonymous - 08-16-2004

Can anybody recommend a good reference work for the identification of Fibulae? I am an interested amateur not an academic. I have a small collection of around 25 fibulae and would really like to learn more about them. I have tried to find suitable references on the internet with little or no success. Being in Australia, more specialist publications can be very difficult to find unless you know exactly what you are looking for.
Have you tried books by Richard Hattatt? His books are out of print, so they might be hard to find.
