Dave Huggins Re: German books - Baiuware - 10-24-2008 Menghins book on the swords may still be early medieval equivalent to Oakeshott, but imho it is highly overrated and I would never pay the kind of money that is being asked for used copies. Remember that it is a quarter of an century old and that many new finds and discussions need to be taken into account. Try to have a look at it in a library before you spend money that could buy you more useful resources. Just my 2 cents, ymmv |
