If we're talking about the one held in the hand, it's a mighty big arrowpoint. I think I'd opt for a javelin or throwing spear. But what do I know? I don't even speak German. :? lol:

AFAIK a Pugio wasn´t found there, I guess you are confusing it with one of the Hedemuenden finds?

Among other features:
"Neue Sensationsfunde bei Kalefeld-den Römern auf der Spur" (sic !)
New sensational finds near Kalefeld -- on roman tracks (? :? )
The KulturJournal is (was) there at the presentation of the finds.
