Does any kind RAT member have easy access to this volume (... and a scanner)? Smile

(Don't panic -- it's only one 12-page contribution that I'm interested in.)

Let me guess - the Baatz article! Big Grin

I wouldn't mind reading about the masks from Nijmegen, or Holger Ratsdorf's article about shields myself!

I have it at home. Send me your wish list by PM, but it may take a few days.

Re: Waffen in Aktion - 16th ROMEC - D B Campbell - 05-10-2010

Mission accomplished, with kind thanks to Jens! (Where are those laudes when we need them?)

Re: Waffen in Aktion - 16th ROMEC - Robert Vermaat - 05-11-2010

Indeed! Thanks Jens!

Jens, do you mind scanning another paper? I would like to read The military belts of the equites by Stephanie Hoss.

Guys, come on. This is brand new, copyrighted and all. You know the rules.

In the UK, we have a 10% allowance, or one complete chapter. I've had mine -- thanks, Jens: no laws broken!

Re: Waffen in Aktion - 16th ROMEC - jho - 05-14-2010

My understanding is that German law also allows the scanning of individual articles for non-commercial scientific use including the retention of third parties to do the scanning (this would be me in this case) as long as the third party does not receive a consideration and the copy is not disseminated publicly (ยง 53 of the German Copyright Act). Therefore I believe that we did not break any laws, certainly we did not intend to.

Just wanted it understood. This board on RAT is publicly visible and you pretty much offered publicly to provide copies.
