I just found this blog in Spanish. This project was his first work with metal, all from scatch Confusedhock: His source was this page:

¿Any comment? Those "seggies" are beyond my knowledge of a barbarian late Roman  , but it looks quite fine, sizing details apart.

The rosettes seems a bit simple, but that would be okay, in my opinion. Overall, I think he did a good job. Only point I would make that it seems there is a gap between the upper girdle and the breast plates. Especially when you make one to measure I would avoid such a gap. Another minor point is that he seems to have used modern buckle pieces, but I'm not totally sure about that. Could have better made those from brass stock, also.

That's his first armoring project?? Dang, sign the boy up!! Yeah, minor cheat on the buckles, and I'm curious about the buckle shown attached to the girdle plate leather. (Can't read Spanish, maybe he explains that.) It's all very neatly done, though! Congrats!
