Does anyone know of any evidence about the size (height and healthy weight) of Achaemenid cavalry horses? What about cavalry horses in neighbouring cultures such as Greece? There is a fair bit of art available, but bones would be a much more reliable source.
I know there have been a few good books lately on Greek cavalry, but I'm just starting to find them and read them. This thread has some citations.
