Re: Open Access Journals on Ancient History - Simplex - 09-02-2012 Hi, .... after running into as seemingly (albeit only temporarily) " heated" thread about Parthians and Sassanians and their contribution to western (military) culture, I'm remebered that I found some interesting online papers/books while combing the internet this week. It was uploaded by Iranist Karveh Farrokh or some of his fellow colleagues for his students or fellow scholars. You can easily find those papers by yourself via Google by typing "Wp-content" and "karveh farrokh" into the "search"line. However there are some which I have already downloaded myself: ROUTLEDGE HISTORY OF THE ANCIENT WORLD : The Roman Empire At Bay 180-395/ Das Römische Reich im Alarmzustand 180-395 (In Englisch) http://www.kavehfarrokh.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/ebooksclub.org__The_Roman_Empire_at_Bay__AD_180_395__Routledge_History_of_the_Ancient_World_.pdf http://www.kavehfarrokh.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/elamitedravidian.pdf Roman and Byzantine Campaigns in Atropatene: http://www.kavehfarrokh.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/V.-Minorsky-1944.-Roman-and-Byzantine-campaigns-in-Atropatene.-Bulletin-of-the-School-of-Oriental-and-African-Studies-University-of-London-Vol.-11-No.-2-pp.-243-265.-.pdf The Origins and Appearance of the Kurds in Pre-Islamic Iran http://www.kavehfarrokh.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/origins-of-kurds-in-preislamic-iran.pdf Rome And Persia In Late Antiquity- Neighbours And Rivals http://www.kavehfarrokh.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/origins-of-kurds-in-preislamic-iran.pdf Scythian Antiquities in Western Asia http://www.kavehfarrokh.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/4-pp.-282-318.-.pdf Jan Willem Drijvers – A Roman Image of the Sassanian „Barbarians“ http://www.kavehfarrokh.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/roman-image-of-barbarians.pdf James E.
