NatGeo article on the Staffordshire hoard - john roberts - 10-21-2011
My November National Geographic just arrived and to my delight the cover story is about the Staffordshire hoard. I haven't even read the article yet, but there are some fabulous photos of the Anglo-Saxon sword bling and a number of artist's reconstructions of some of the finds. Well worth buying the issue.
