Xanten catapult pictures - jvrjenivs - 01-09-2012

I'm currently doing some research into artillery and looking at my pictures of the Xanten catapult we got some new ideas we would like to check. However, for this a good (high-res) picture of the backside of that machine would be very welcome. I only have some pictures at an angle, but some pictures giving a good view of the back would be more than welcome.

Anyone can help me forward? Many thanks in advance.

Volume 18 of the Xantener Berichte deals with this engine. It might be worth a check, but browsing the book rapidly did not turn up a complete picture of the backside (several detailed pictures of the same). The photos are good, not terribly large if you want big details. Maybe it will be useful. The reference is H-J. Schalles (ed), Die frühkaiserzeitliche Manuballista aux Xanten-Wardt, Xantener Berichte 18; Philipp von Zabern: Mainz (2010).
