Rome: Total War II - Agricola - 09-27-2012

Thanks for posting the video Marcus.

That footage looks fantastic! :woot:

Too bad it looks like you need a supercomputer to run it. A small niggle though, what does the Creative Assembly have against belts? None of the Roman Hastati/Principes? had belts. The same with many of the soldiers in Napoleon: Total War. They love sashes it seems.

Rome: Total War II - Valerian Pertinax - 09-27-2012

My computer is 4 years old, with 3 gigs of RAM, 1 gig of video RAM (upgraded 1 year ago). It runs the other CA titles flawlessly. Still... this game looks like the perfect excuse to upgrade.

Rome: Total War II - Flavivs Aetivs - 09-27-2012

Yeah I have 4 Gigs of RAM and is only a year old and has 1 Gig Video but it will run this no problem.

Rome: Total War II - Valerian Pertinax - 09-27-2012

Shhhhh! My girlfriend thinks Rome 2 needs at least 6 gigs to run!!

Rome: Total War II - M. Demetrius - 09-27-2012

Have the system requirements been published?

Rome: Total War II - Agricola - 09-27-2012

I haven't found anything yet, but one of the team at the Creative Assembly has stated that if your PC is able to run Shogun 2, then it should be able to run Rome 2 on low settings. This however might be subject to change, as the game is now in the alpha stage of development.

Rome: Total War II - Gaius Julius Caesar - 09-28-2012

16 Gbytes Ram and 4g graphics might grind it out then! Confusedilly:

Rome: Total War II - Flavivs Aetivs - 09-28-2012

Lol, I know a guy who has a computer like that. 4.8 ghz processor, 16 Gig ram and 4 gig gfx card, and a 3 terrabyte 7200 RPM hard drive and a 512 Gig Solid state drive

Rome: Total War II - Vinicius - 09-28-2012

can't wait for this game..

Rome: Total War II - Cacaius - 09-30-2012

There are more great news about this game.

More than houndred 2D illustrtions to this game are just being made by my friend and Legio XXI Rapax member ... Mariusz Kozik known as lacedemon : http://www.lacedemon.info/

Expect some really amazing pictures ...

And also historically correct.

I do my best helping Mariusz, so you will see proper shapes of helmets, gladii etc on the pictures .. in every small detail.

Rome: Total War II - Gaius Julius Caesar - 09-30-2012

Good to know, Cezary!

Rome: Total War II - Agricola - 10-05-2012

Fantastic artwork! I'm glad to see that Rome 2 will have paintings and pictures (like Empire, Napoleon and Shogun 2) instead of the bulky and unrealistic models they used for the 'in-game messages' in the original game.
