Rome: Total War II - Flavivs Aetivs - 02-02-2013

In terms of Gameplay though, it could signify the game will cover a longer era than RTW.

A game that will once and for all melt my computer's chipboard.

Rome: Total War II - Marcus F. - 02-14-2013

some details about one of the historical battles in this game are revealed here:

Battle of the Teutoburg Forest

Rome: Total War II - AMELIANVS - 02-14-2013

Great shots :-)

Rome: Total War II - Gaius Julius Caesar - 02-14-2013

Man, this is going to be awesome if those are in game shots!
When is it going to be released?

Rome: Total War II - Agricola - 02-15-2013

I think the Iceni were chosen for two reasons. One they are associated with Boudica, the most famous of all the ancient Britons, and two because the Creative Assembly studios are located in Norfolk, the ancient tribal home of the Iceni. An odd choice though, considering the Iceni were no way important in the Consular era.

So now it's decided that the Suebi will be the 6th playable faction. After those screenshots from what seems to be "The Battle of the Teutoburg Forest", I rather expected the Cheruski, but the Suebi actually were more important in the long term, partly because they already appeared in Caesar's Gallic Wars and also since they had so many sub groups in later times.

I'm surprised they didn't add the Frisii, as the Frisii were a major player on the Gallic border.

Rome: Total War II - Gaius Julius Caesar - 02-16-2013

So no one has a clue when this will be released?

Rome: Total War II - M. Val. Naso - 02-16-2013

Rome: Total War II - Flavivs Aetivs - 02-16-2013

Same time as EU4. Damn

Rome: Total War II - Thomas Aagaard - 02-17-2013

EU and total war allways suplemented each other I think.

When I play EU I sometimes miss the battles. When I play Total war I miss all the rest...
