Cavalry Helmet Average Weight? - Doc - 07-24-2012

What is/are the average weight of copper alloy made cavalry helmets with masks? I know that many legionary iron helmets are more than 1.5kg. However, for some reason I do not believe the same is true for cavalry helmets made with all that detail.

Here is my copy of the Trimontium cavalry sports helmet that I found very lightweight in fact the original is less than a 1/2 kg and where the two heads of the cupids come almost together that area is about 5 thousanths of an inch in thickness.
