does someone know what a gutuater is? I've googled it but could not find anything. or, at least, not anything in a language i can read...

gutuater - Crispianus - 10-13-2015

Apparantly a type of druid involved in invoking the gods..... ?
Also appears to be the name of a leader of the Carnutes...

gutuater - Alanus - 10-14-2015

I think I saw "Gutauter" in De Bello Gallico. The word is Gallic. You might check Pierre Heni Billy's book, Thesaurus Linguae Gallicae.

I recall the name Gutuater. I think he was a Gaul rebel chieftain mentioned in Caeser's Gallic Wars.
