That saves on testing in multiple posts.
Greets

Jasper
Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - aitor iriarte - 03-12-2005 Oh, well,
There are plenty of depictions of Roman soldiers wearing mail and no one of them shows pterugae. Moreover, to wear pterugae your cuirass must be short and sleeveless. Maybe your hamata is short (perhaps a little too short for our date) but it has short sleeves!
Pterugae must go ar least on two double lines (that means quadruple thickness on the upper row) Go to you National Museum and have a look at the ptegugae of the statuest from your Roman theatre!
We're going to be at Centcelles in Tarraco Viva this year. Have your group made clear its position with the organizers?

Aitor

Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Robert Vermaat - 03-12-2005 Quote:
Try the link now

Sorry Ivan, your site is gone (for now), I get this text:

This domain is currently unavailable

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused to you.
Please return again later.
Valete,
Valerius/Robert
fectienses seniores
Edited by: Vortigern Studies at: 3/12/05 5:20 pm
Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - FAVENTIANVS - 03-13-2005 Salve Aitor, Magàtold us that we'd be there, but I don't trust him.
Robert, better try the original adress at geocities.com/ivarmaelstrom/magistermilitum.html
Ivan Perelló
MARCVS CAECILIVS FAVENTIANVS

Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - aitor iriarte - 03-15-2005 Ivan,
I don't blame you if you don't trust him...
What about Segeda?
