Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Tim Edwards - 08-20-2008 My good lady and I at Archeon last week, her first event! Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - John M McDermott - 08-20-2008 I am glad to see more Roman ladies. Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Ceasar Augustus - 08-21-2008 Nice gear. Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Gaius Julius Caesar - 08-22-2008 Quote:I am glad to see more Roman ladies. I'd be even gladder to see more 'SINGLE' Roman ladies! Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - AuxArcher - 08-26-2008 Here is myself on a very hot day, a timeline event my legio took part in last month in Vermont. I represent a Germanic auxilia archer, but you can see me standing by the two catapults I am fabricating. Now the iron plating is finished on the 2" machine (thus not in the shot), and is painted and looks good. This weekend, I hope to have the plating cut out and attached to the scorpio-minor. I finally found a rifle range at my new club that has a 200 meter depth, so testing can proceed when ready. I guess I'll have to put together a miles kit for artillary duty, down the road. Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - FAVENTIANVS - 08-26-2008 Some pics I like from Archeon with some of our new gear: Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - FAVENTIANVS - 08-27-2008 And of course: Cesar is wearing Marteen Dolmans' helmet (made by Marteen himself!) Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Quintus Julius Furius - 08-28-2008 Roman centurio (end of the first siecle BC/30 AD) Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Quintus Julius Furius - 08-28-2008 Roman auxiliary (scutati) and roman centurion (10 AD) Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Folkert van Wijk - 08-28-2008 Quote: Looks good Quintus! Can we have a close up of your helmet? I like that type, where did you get it? Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Folkert van Wijk - 08-28-2008 Quote:My good lady and I at Archeon last week, her first event!
