Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Gaius Julius Caesar - 10-12-2008

Radka, I notice the auxillia? in the white, I take it these are subarmalii?

Do you have any closups shots of these? They look quite good!

Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Tita Iuventia Martia - 10-12-2008

Yes, those soldiers really are auxilliaries, but not from our group. It is another Czech group, they portray auxilliary troops during the reign of Macrus Aurelius. The group's name is Provincia Marcomania. You can see a better photo here:

You can also take a look at my leather vest (with leather pteryges) and my subarmalis:

Peronis...you moved! Confusedhock:

Nice kit Alexander!

Awesome Alexander!

Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Peroni - 10-13-2008

I have an American stunt double!!!

I certainly recognise a couple of pieces of my former kit there!

Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - M. CVRIVS ALEXANDER - 10-13-2008

Yep, the former Peroni's squamata is in our legion's loaner gear now, and I found it convenient for the signifer's impression. And, of course, it looks great.

I also used the harness I got from Ade for the parma belt.

And I am using Italic B (same as Ade) because of the short neck guard, and the same new tinned Deepeeka mask.

But - my bear has teeth!

Here are some other pics from the event.

You guys are looking the business!
Edge looks great in his squamata! Where did he get that crest from?

I believe he made the crest himself.

Great impressions! Legio undecima aeterna!

Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - M. CVRIVS ALEXANDER - 10-13-2008

Yes, he made it himself, and did a great job. Thank you guys for your kind words.

Quote:. Is it from Adrian, is not it :?:

Yes, it is, but not one of the DSC ones he's selling in his shop. It's the one Adrian made himself for his own impression and sold last year due to back problems. But the DSC one is the same design, indeed.

Re: Show here your roman soldier impression - Aurelianus - 10-13-2008

Adrian sold it to Paul (PRIMVS PAVLVS).

Alexander, did Paul lend it you or did he really sold it? Confusedhock:
