Trier/Trevers: Funds raised for building roman freight vessel - Simplex - 04-13-2016

Hi,
....with Dr. Christoph Schäfer and his team "at the helm" a copy of the Roman freight vessel found at Laurons bay near the mouth of river Rhone.
The piece to be built will be ca. 17 m Long.
The crew around Dr. Schäfer is one of the most experienced Teams around when it comes to building copies of roman ships, namely copies of samples of warships found at Mainz, (... as displayed at Museum für Antike Schiffahrt/Museum for Ancient shipfare)having repeatedly done so.
I stopped counting at "three". Blush

I can't find any information on this one! Is it one of those 'river barge' type vessels, like the one on display in Arles?
