In addition to the interesting foundations dating from 5th and 6th centuries, lots of evidence of flourishing trade with Rome and the Mediterranean. Suggestion is that the withdrawal of the legions was seen as temporary.

There was no actual "withdrawal of the legions." Although troops were moved away from Britain, estimates show there were at least 20-30,000 men left around the province in 395-428 when the Notitia was compiled and updated.
The 410 date is a complete myth. The reality is that Roman control broke down similar to how it did in Raetia and Noricum.
