Damascus Steel During the Roman Era - Anonymous - 09-29-2002

I picked up a copy of the latest Minerva Magazine tonight-- it has an article on Damascus steel blades. According to the article, a Damascus blade has been unearthed in the near east that can firmly be dated to the 3rd or 4th century AD and was apparently used by a Sarmatian horseman.
