noise/sound and the Roman army - Cornelius A - 05-04-2017 A call for help to locate a paper. A while ago I came across a paper on Academia about the Roman military equipment and the noise it makes. Unfortunately I did not download the paper at that time and now I can't find the paper anymore as I forgot its title. I think it was in Dutch, but I'm not sure. Does anybody has any idea which paper this might be? Any other suggestions on the topic of noise/sound in the Roman army? Thank you! This probably isn't the paper you have in mind, but it addresses a similar topic: Cowan: The Clashing of Weapons and Silent Advances in Roman Battles RE: noise/sound and the Roman army - Cornelius A - 05-05-2017 This is indeed a very interesting paper. Thanks for the suggestion. The paper I had in mind was more archaeological. |
