Rust on my Lorica Laminata - Quintus Dias - 06-27-2017 Hello, I'm new to the world of reenacting. I just received my Lorica Laminata(Segmentata) yesterday and noticed it was a bit rusty, I looked up several videos and asked several people and I was told to use vinegar and a sponge, long story short I did, the rust went but now there are weird markings left behind, how do I get rid of them? You need to take rust off with vinegar, then use baking soda to neutralize it, and then rinse it thoroughly with water. Then dry it with a towel and oil it thoroughly.
