A friend showed me this game. It's old-school, but surprisingly fun. Not entirely historically accurate, but they do get a lot of things right:

They're about as good as they can be for a game made in 1990. Simple but adequate. The battles are better than you might expect.

For the playability, I still remember the frustration of the naval battles when I won the arcade game but I lost the battle. I needed some time to understand the mechanics
