a whole bunch of links on here....I have a feeling I posted a cavalry section link somewhere...but some really good stuff on here....just check out the cloaks page... Smile the hats look the same as Scythian.

Southern Greeks had trading posts on the cost i.e. Podiea, Amphipolis.
So the guy with the corinthian helmet is not ahistorical at all and the finding are not supposed to be surprizing.
Possibly the Thracians intrduced the Skythian saddle to the Southern Greeks or the Doreans got the secret from them (legend of Herkules and Diomedes horses). The horns on helemts were possibly a continuationa of the Bronze age "solar bull" tradition.
