Games on your computer now. - Optio equitum - 02-26-2006

I will start this one off...Age of Empires III, Rome Total War (3 different versions) Age of Empires Gold Edition, Caesar III (love the classics),Medieval Total War Gold, Shogun Total War Gold, Rise of Nations Gold, Neverwinter Nights (just for variety) Anyone notice a conquer the world pattern here? Big Grin

Yes. Anything you want to talk about?
Diablo II Gold, Rome Total War TR, The Sims 2, Call of Duty 2, Stronghold 2...
Hmmm, I guess I have something with sequels! Big Grin

Re: Games on your computer now. - Optio equitum - 02-26-2006

No, nothing in particular, just curious if violence and mayhem rule on other PC's Big Grin One question though, how is Stronghold 2 in comparison to the original? I loved 1, and have debated buying 2.

Re: Games on your computer now. - Dan Diffendale - 02-26-2006

Well, with AoE 2, Caesars 1, 2, and 3 long gone, and Civ 2 and Civ 3 recently uninstalled, all I've got left is Soldat.

Re: Games on your computer now. - Praefectusclassis - 02-26-2006

Stronghold 2 is bigger, better and some of the missions still frustratingly hard.

Re: Games on your computer now. - Optio equitum - 02-26-2006

Great! More missons to make me crazed... Tongue

Re: Games on your computer now. - Titus Martius - 02-26-2006

Rome Total War (RTR 6.3), Stronghold 2, Empire Earth 2, Europa Universalis 2, Silent Hunter 3, Rise of Nations, Caesar 3...But I play Rome Total War most often, I think that RTW is the best strategy and with some mods it is the most historically realistic game, like here:[url:1zzvbeak]http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e310/unyva/13vt.jpg[/url]

Re: Games on your computer now. - Susanne - 02-26-2006

I have Rome: Total War, with the Barbarian Invasion expansion pack, and Age of Mythology, with The Titans.

Both games are extremely good, and have a high level of replayability.

Re: Games on your computer now. - Optio equitum - 02-26-2006

Seems to be a general theme of "wannabe world conquerors" I wonder what a psychologist would make of this......

Re: Games on your computer now. - Marcus Mummius - 02-26-2006

AoE III, AoE II, AoC, AoM, GTA 3, Diablo II, Guild Wars, Soldier of Fortune, Half Life 2, UT2004, Battlefield Vietnam, Battle for Middle Earth, Rome Total War and more...

Regards,
