Re: Military History - CaiusBritannicus - 03-01-2009 I am a recent neophyte to Roman stuff but my interests have always been roughly from the 18th Century through to the modern day. Re: Military History - Currahee Chris - 06-02-2009 I am sort of a "bookend historical enthusiast" I enjoy the ancient world as well as military history starting with WW1 and forward to modern era. I have a passing interest in American War for Independence and the Scottish Wars of Independence. Cheers CC Re: Military History - Marcus F. - 10-16-2009 Mostly Rome (til the 3rd century), then also Ancient Greece, High Medieval times, Baroque era and the time of Napoleon. Re: Military History - MARCvSVIBIvSMAvRINvS - 01-17-2010 All warfare, but especially Roman, Samurai, Medieval and World War Two. M.VIB.M. Re: Military History - A_Volpe - 01-18-2010 Ok, so I voted... Do I get a cookie now? Re: Military History - Astiryu1 - 06-01-2010 I started with the Samurai then moved from there. In Order of research Samurai Ninja China ( terra-cota army ) Scythians Bronze Age Greeks ( Iliad ) Romans Etruscans Saxons Vikings Anglo-Saxons Native Americans (Skraelings) Persian/Babylonian/Assyrian Neo-Lithic Man WW2 Neanderthal Man I never stopped officially on any of these but that is the order when I hit each one hard in learning about( between 3 months and 1 year on each). I am currently hitting the Neanderthal topic pretty hard but RAT has a large part of my time too. Mostly the Greeks. |
