book series: Emperor by Conn Iggulden - Caius Lentulus - 03-30-2006

I am almost finished reading this book series and it its fantastic! It tells the story of the life of Julius Caesar in a four book saga. Its not entirely accurate because the author changed some of the history. He explains why he changed what he did at the end of the first and second book. The battle scenes are graphic and got my imagination working really well, and i really felt drawn to Caesar as a person because i feel i grew up with him. Its a great series and im halfway through the last book (released 28 March in the US). I'd definately reccomend the series if you love the entertainment and its great for the new Roman Army fans. Enjoy!
